I'm not sure that being "one of the few covered bridges in Georgia continuing to carry traffic without underlying steel beams" is anything to brag about, sign.
Is there anywhere the Google maps vehicle hasn't gone?

I already went through the whole "wow, there are a lot of people wearing one color, and man are some of them drunk" thing back in Iowa City, so there was no shock value to be procured from today's excursion. There's a bit more dressing up here: you still have the guys in duotone bodysuits and girls with paint on their cheeks, but there's also a lot of dresses and skirts and ties and button-downs. And cowboy boots; if I had a dollar for every outfit that consisted of cowboy boots, long tan legs, and an eye-opening hemline, I could have bought at least twenty Lafonda Dawgs. (Although there seems to be less Fake'n'Bake here than Iowa; my guess is the milder winters make it easier to get some real sun.)
It's pretty impressive approaching from Sanford Drive - it sort of swoops down and then all of a sudden you can see into the stadium.
The cheering was very structured, from what I could tell: one side yells "Georgia", the other "Bulldogs", etc., with no one even thinking of ruining the back and forth with a whoop or holler. (Yes, I had to Google who they were playing as well as the score.)
And here we have a sign reminding people not to tailgate in a cemetery - so much for Southern manners.
