I don't care that Merriam-Webster allows for two pronunciations, it's del-yuge

Something I haven't complained about yet mentioned is how much it's been raining here, because a) it's epically abnormal (the past three years have been drought-ridden) and b) it's hard to take pictures of rain.

On average, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, Athens gets 3.3 inches of rain in October. As of yesterday, the current amount is up to 8.9 inches, helped enormously by a 3.8" Forrest Gump-esque one-day deluge a few weeks ago. At least if we'd moved to the Pacific northwest there would be a better job market.

However, THIS I can get behind:

BOOYEAH FALL IN THE SOUTH.

I might even not have to ruin my costume with an overthing (other than a beer jacket, of course).*

*Oh, God, I'm getting too old to joke about beer jackets, aren't I? DAMMIT.
