This is where I spent a lot of time growing up; we would pack a net and some buckets and pick up some Cokes and Doritos on the way and then Dad would read the Wall Street Journal at a park bench while Juju and I built dams and caught salamanders and crawdads. I was going to give Steve some pointers but an earlier rain had made it too muddy.
Out of control algae at the Erwin Linear Trail - when the ducks swam through it closed up right behind them like a goo.
You can just see a hint of fall here - the green would be bluer/deeper if it were June or July.
