In case you didn't notice at the bottom of each mobile-blogged image, there is a tiny link that says "geoloc" - this is an OnSugar feature and is how I got the faux GPS coordinates of where I was to create this map (triangulating between cell phone towers is pretty accurate it turns out).

The whole trip was 2,677 miles total. I paid about $150 for gas (and still have over half a tank left) and about $150 for hotels; of course my precious, precious man-hours are priceless (as is my right knee's cartilage - by the end of today I was bending over the steering wheel holding my right upper shin in a vice grip, which is the only thing that stops it from aching when I drive long distances)(enjoy your joints while you're young, whippersnappers!).
As for non-iPhone pictures, there are woefully few; this was less a road trip than a road sprint and I didn't have time to stop and get out of the car to photograph all the gorgeous scenery, which just about killed me approximately ten times a day. Luckily, our next road trip - the upcoming grand old Southern job-hunting tour of '09 - will be more leisurely and involve a second driver.
Now if you'll excuse me, Mama's apple pie finally cooled down and I want to see if it's as good as the rhubarb.
