BART recently (well, in the past few months) instituted multiple arrival times appended with a comma in their electronic announcement system. Instances where this would be useful may be few (crowd situations is one that comes to mind), but adding the functionality hurts no one.
However, I'm still against the "doors will be here" black indicators on the floor, at least until someone teaches everybody in the Bay Area how to wait for all exiting passengers to disembark before boarding. When I was in New York I noticed that their subway had no queue markers and that people thus had a less glaring sense of train-entry-entitlement.

Egypt and stem cells, The Watchmen and fish: are the odd ad pairings in Montgomery BART a result of lazy maintenance or undersold inventory? (The fish and sphinx are from an old Emirates Airlines campaign.)

Maybe this scruffy hipster will whip you up a widget in his spare time, BART, but I have better things to do. Like play iPod solitaire. Or take a nap.

Taking an early train gives me a feeling of accomplishment, but the late ones are so comfortably empty and chill. First world problem alert!
